Die Acrylfarben sind zwar nicht &#8222;arm&#8220; (wegen der Leuchtkraft) aber wegen ihrer Charakterlosigkeit\/Universalit\u00e4t dann doch wieder. Ich empfinde sie als Kunststoffhaut+Wasser.<br>&#8222;Arte Povera&#8220; auch in der Zugangsweise. Mit Bescheidenheit, Gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigkeit, der Akzeptanz des Materiellen, seriell, ohne etwas &#8222;Besonderes&#8220; oder &#8222;Bedeutungsvolles&#8220; herstellen zu wollen, gelingt es dem K\u00fcnstler durch die Gitter leuchtende kostbare Farbe hervorscheinen zu lassen und starke, einfache Formen, die erscheinen und<br>halten.<br>K\u00fcnstlerischer Ausdruck, die vielgesuchte Spiritualit\u00e4t, das ist Cheikh Niass gelungen. Seine bevorzugte Ausdrucksweise ist die Installation. Kombiniert mit Malerei schafft er farbenintensive Zyklen. &#8222;Migration&#8220; ist eine Auseinandersetzung mit der \u00dcberlebenskunst und der Kooperationsbereitschaft zwischen Menschen sowie Teil einer Serie von Vogelinstallationen.
